Nicole Messer, MS, PA-C graduated from the Physician Assistant Program at Mercy College in Bronx. She spent her first three years of practice in NYC at Lenox Hill Hospital in the Cardiac Surgery Department. Thereafter she moved to San Francisco, working in cardiothoracic surgery at Palo Alto Medical Foundation for the next four years. Wishing to reenter academic medicine, in 2016, she jointed the UCSF Adult Cardiothoracic Surgery Program.
